Heather wanted to use her fiance's grandmother's antique lace wedding from 1920. They had found the gown in the attic, but it had not been preserved. I researched how to restore antique lace, and was able to clean the lace and reinforce it with English netting. I used the preserved lace to make a modern styled wedding gown for Heather. We used an ivory satin lining instead of the original taffeta lining. With the remnants from the lace and taffeta I was able to make tissue holders for the mothers, and pocket scarves for the groom and fathers. I also made Heather's wedding veil.
