During the design process you will work hand and hand with Debby creating the the perfect gown for you.
Below is Alyssa Barton's wedding gown from idea to finished gown.

The first step of the design process is to start with an idea of what you would like, some brides bring a photo or several pictures of what they like. Debby will sketch out your gown, and you will choose fabric and trims. Your measurements and deposit will also be taken at this first appointment. Here, Alyssa brought in a museum photo of Civil War gown she wanted reproduced for her wedding gown. |

| The second appointment will be a muslin fitting of your gown, or bodice, you will need to have the undergarments for this appointment. Alyssa will be wearing a corset, and because the skirt on the gown is a very full skirt, it was not necessary to make a pattern for that. The bodice was the important fitting. Debby will make changes on the muslin and use this to cut out the actual fabric for the gown. |  |

The third fitting is the actual gown, some changes can be made at this point. Alyssa decided to change the lace trim on the neckline and the sleeves and opted not to have the lace skirt, once she was able to see the gown, she decided the simpler version was more suited to her taste. |

When creating a custom design, there are so many options that it can sometimes be overwhelming, so I suggest taking photo's during the fitting and going home and looking at them and give it some time to decide. This is your gown and I want it to be what you imagined The details are so important.
