Custom Design Policies

 

Fittings and Payments

1. 9 – 12 months prior to wedding: Choose style of wedding gown and fabric.

2. 50 % non-refundable deposit required at time of contract. May be paid by cash; check; Visa or MasterCard. All sales final.

3. Pattern fitting: this is your first fitting; you will need the undergarments you plan to wear with the finished garment at this fitting. It will take approx. 15 minutes.

4. Second fitting: this is the actual garment fitting; you will need the undergarments and your shoes. Your hem and zipper and any alterations will be pinned at this fitting. It will take 15 to 30 minutes. Your balance is due at this fitting.

5. Third Fitting: for placement of trim, final alterations, pin bustle.

6. Final Fitting: Should take place within 4 weeks of wedding to check the final fit of the gown and test the bustle. You will need the undergarments and shoes at this fitting this will be the final time you try on the gown.

7. 1 – 2 weeks prior to wedding schedule to pick up your gown, you will not try it on at this time, it will be steamed and in a white bridal bag.

8. The above time schedules are standard; you may make other arrangements to suit your schedule. Additional fittings may also be necessary.

9. Changes in the design of the garment are handled as follows:

10. Shoes, purses, jewelry, petticoats, and bras need to be paid in full at time of purchase. Dyed shoes and purses are non-returnable. They are custom dyed at the factory before they are shipped to us. Our shoe companies custom-mix their dyes for each order. All bridal party shoes should be ordered at the same time to assure color match.

Appointments

1. Please be on time for appointments. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please call ahead, as this may effect other customers scheduled appointments.

2. If you are unable to make an appointment please call to reschedule.

Inclement Weather

During snow storms appointments will be rescheduled; if you are scheduled and a storm is predicted call ahead to check on your appointment, unless I have already called you.

Cancellation Policy

1. All sales are final. 50% deposit is non-refundable.

2. Once the fabric has been ordered, the customer is responsible for the balance on the garment, no refunds. If the garment has not been cut, the customer may either have the fabric or re-design the garment.

3. Once the garment has been cut, it will be made into the original design, unless modifications can be made. The customer is responsible for the balance of the garment. No refunds.

4. All garments not picked up within 30 days of their final fitting will be charged a storage fee of $25.00 a month.

Payment Terms

1. We accept Visa or MasterCard; Cash or Checks, or a combination for the 50% deposit due at time of contract. Phone orders using Visa or MasterCard also accepted.

2. Final payment due at second fitting. Please come prepared with your payment.

3. Returned checks are charged a $35.00 fee.
